How does the service work?
Step 1 Use
the request form on our home page to request paper2scan flatpack archive boxes, or
phone/email us to discuss your requirements. The flatpack will be couriered
to you at no upfront cost.
Assemble the archive boxes by following our simple instructions.
Step 2 Pack
you paper documents into our super strength paper2scan archive boxes and
advise us when you are ready to send for scanning. We will arrange secure
courier pickup.
We
accept ring binders identified with a title and any other specific key
words.
We accept lever arch folders identified with a title and any other specific
key words.
We accept filing cabinet suspension files identified with a title and any
other specific key words.
We accept spiral bound documents but the spiral binding will be removed
permanently before scanning.
We accept paper up to A3 in size.
We accept double sided paper (duplex).
We accept loose paper “books” separated by colour paper and
identified with a title and any other specific key words. Staples should be
removed. Loose paper “books” should be temporarily bound.
Step 3 Once
the courier delivers your order to us, your job will be logged for action
and your papers scanned to multipage PDF files with up to 256 character
searchable descriptor. We will QA digital images, create folders and
transfer to CD or DVD.
Step 4 The
CD or DVD will be delivered to you. Your paper documents can then be stored
at a secure data storage, securely disposed of or returned to you.
Step 5 We
offer to co-locate your digital images and create a searchable index on our
paper2scan Secure Server. You can search, view, print and retrieve your
documents 24/7 from where-ever you and your internet are located.
You
will use Windows free issue Remote Desktop application to remotely access your documents.
Your documents will be secured through our server security and through the
use of a secure user name and password. You won’t need to have any software
installed on your computer.
